Aberfeldy – 25 Year Old 125th Anniversary Limited Edition

This is a 25 year old Aberfeldy single malt, bottled as a limited edition to mark the distillery's 125th anniversary. Distilling at Aberfeldy began in 1898. The whisky spent more than two decades maturing in the warehouse and was then finished in Oloroso sherry casks, which add to its rich, fruity character and bring a spiced note. The nose is rich and succulent, with Highland honey, wild strawberries and sun-warmed ripe peaches, developing into cocoa powder and creamy caramel. The finish carries spicy cinnamon.
