This is a 10 year old Aberlour Forest Reserve, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks and follows the modern Speyside style.
The bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.
The nose is sweet and full, with sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness. The palate is quite full-bodied, with spicy rich fruitcake, toffee, a creamy malty feel and a faint touch of synthetic banana. The finish carries caramel and honey, with the malt and sweet spices lingering.
