Aberlour – 10 Years Old Port Cask The Whisky Chamber (50cl, 57.6%)

This is a 10 year old single malt from Aberlour in Speyside, bottled independently by The Whisky Chamber. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022 at 57.6% ABV, in a 50cl bottle. Only 303 bottles were filled. The whisky matured in a single ruby port barrique, which gives it a dessert-like character built around chocolate brownie. The nose offers strawberry, malt, toffee and a little floral note. The palate is chocolate brownie with hazelnut and fruit. On the finish the strawberry returns, with chocolate and dark caramel.
