Ace of Speys is an 11-year-old Speyside single malt distilled at Aberlour in 2014 and bottled by The Uncharted Whisky Co. in March 2026. It was matured in two Spinola sherry barriques that previously held a Pedro Ximenez sherry made in the oloroso style. The result is 653 bottles at 55% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill-filtration.
The nose brings pear drops, dried mango and pineapple with butterscotch and oak. On the palate baked apple and brown sugar meet dried mango and pineapple juice, with plenty of spicy oak. The long finish moves from tropical fruit through butterscotch to warming wood spice.
