An eleven-year-old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, distilled in 2014 and bottled by James Eadie as a single cask. After its main maturation it spent 24 months finishing in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt of European oak. Only 621 bottles were filled, at a cask strength of 52.3% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colour.
The nose is of dense, intense sherry with dark dried fruit and a light maltiness. The palate is full and complex, with the sweetness of Oloroso and a subtle oak spice, leading to a long, balanced finish.
