A 12 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, matured in both traditional oak and sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has buttery cinnamon toast, concentrated raisin in the background, glacé cherry and some woody dryness with barrel char. The palate starts with a big sweet butter note, then maple syrup, brown sugar, plump raisins, nutmeg and milk chocolate, with more char. The finish is medium in length, with chocolate, raisins and char.
