Aberlour 12 Year Old Double Cask Matured is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in Oloroso sherry butts and American oak barrels. Together the two casks soften the crisp, citrus character of the distillery's spirit and bring a sherried depth to it.
The colour is golden amber with hints of ruby. The nose is soft and rounded, with red apple and fruity aromas balanced by rich chocolate. The palate is sweet and spicy, and the finish is warm and lingering.
