Aberlour 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for twelve years in two types of cask.
Traditional oak casks and seasoned sherry butts are both used, and the mellowed spirits from each are combined.
The crisp, citrus character of Aberlour's raw spirit is softened by this double maturation, giving a subtly balanced flavour.
