Aberlour 12 Years Old Double Cask is a Highland single malt, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery stands in the valley of the River Lour, which flows into the Spey. Its soft water travels more than 800 metres by pipe from the Allachie valley, drawn from the granite of Ben Rinnes. Pernod Ricard bought Aberlour in 1974.
The house style is soft, with a medium to full flavour that is nutty and spicy, with notes of sherry.
