Aberlour 12 Years Old Double Cask Matured is a single malt bottled at 40% ABV. It is aged in both traditional oak casks and sherry casks.
This double maturation gives a fresh, citrus-led heart more depth and balance, with layers of honeyed fruit and sweet spice.
The nose is soft and round, with fruity notes of red apple. On the palate a refined sherry character sits alongside fruit, balanced by rich chocolate. The finish is warm and long, sweet and spicy.
