Aberlour 12 Years Old Double Cask Matured is a Speyside single malt made by vatting whiskies that spent 12 years in American oak and Spanish sherry oak. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is soft and rounded, with apples. The palate brings sweet sherry, toffee and spice in the form of cinnamon and ginger, followed by a lingering finish of sweet, warm spice.
