Aberlour 12 Years Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is amber in colour with a ruby glint.
The nose is softly fruity, with apple, red apricot, light sugar and clove. On the palate the sherry influence is clear, alongside nuts, jam, caramel and chocolate, with a peppery touch of cinnamon and ginger.
The finish is warm and pleasantly sweet, with spice that keeps returning.
