Aberlour 12 Years is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured in American oak casks. James Fleming founded the distillery in 1879, choosing a site with a dependable supply of pure spring water that flows over the pink granite of Ben Rinnes. The village of Aberlour lies at the heart of Speyside, where the Lour burn joins the River Spey. The soft water used for making the whisky comes from nearby natural springs.
