Aberlour 14 Year Old is a single malt matured in both Oloroso sherry casks and American oak casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and is deep amber in colour.
On the nose there are juicy cherries, citrus and marzipan, with blackcurrant giving way to treacly butterscotch and lightly spiced oak. The palate is soft and round, with creamy caramel, subtle spice, blackberry jam and butterscotch.
The finish is long and sweet, with vanilla and custard tart trailing into sherried oak.
