Aberlour 15 is a single malt from Speyside in Scotland. The distillery was founded by James Fleming in 1879 and is now run by Pernod Ricard. It uses local barley and water from the Ben Rinnes spring, and the spirit is distilled twice.
The whisky is matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks for at least 12 years, and carries a 15 year age statement.
The nose is fruity, with sweet spice and oak. The palate is round and balanced, with caramel, vanilla and dried fruit. The finish is long, with warm sweetness and subtle spice.
