This is a 16 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, in a 70cl bottle. It is double cask matured, first in American oak casks and then in sherry casks.
The two woods give a balance of fruitiness and oak, with a full flavour.
The nose is floral, with a touch of spicy nuttiness. On the palate it is sherried, with floral notes, spice, fruit and oak, leading to a long, warming finish.
