A 16 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, in a 70cl bottle. It was first matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, then part of it was finished in extra-charred American oak barrels.
The nose brings sweet vanilla, toffee, toasted oak, heather honey, dried vine fruit, chocolate and cocoa powder. On the palate come milk chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla essence, Nutella and gingersnap, with toasty oak and spiced chocolate on the finish.
