Aberlour 18 Year Old is a malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, matured in sherry casks and supplied in a gift box.
It has enough depth to stand up to the sherry cask, balancing malty caramel sweetness, blackcurrant fruitiness and the wood of the cask.
The nose is melting vanilla ice cream, honey and red forest fruits. On the palate come stewed apple, spiced orange and plenty of raisin from the sherry.
