This is an Aberlour distilled in 2008 and bottled at 15 years old as Artist 14, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in oloroso sherry casks.
The palate is full and silky. It opens with candied orange and lemon, sweets, crème brûlée and strawberry jam, then moves towards mango, persimmon and guava.
The finish is long and concentrated, with pipe tobacco, blackberry jam, dried leaves, mushroom and lichen, ending on butterscotch and mango coulis.
