Aberlour 18 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, given a double sherry cask finish and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a chestnut gold colour.
The nose is rich and complex, with caramel, ripe peach and bitter orange. The palate opens with soft apricot and cream, then moves to blackcurrant jam and sweet oak with a touch of honey.
The finish is very long and balanced, moving from crème brûlée to a gentle touch of oak.
