An 18 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, bottled at 43% in a 50cl bottle. It has a deep amber colour with copper highlights, and a hint of oak and sherry runs through it.
The nose is rich with toffee, dark chocolate and ripe fruit such as blackcurrant and raisins. The palate is smooth, sweet and full-bodied, with cinnamon, vanilla and dark chocolate, and oak and sherry towards the back. The finish is long and complex, with caramel sweetness, a touch of aniseed and spice.
