This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 by James Eadie at 58.9% ABV. It was finished for 14 months in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead.
The nose brings sugared almonds, sultanas and a hint of maple syrup, with icing sugar on a rich fruit cake. On the palate come ripe fig, dates, pears and mashed bananas. The finish is of medium length and slightly drying, with a light sticky toffee pudding note.
