Aberlour – A'bunadh Batch 80

This is Batch 80 of Aberlour A'bunadh, a Speyside single malt. A'bunadh means "the original" in Gaelic, and the whisky was created as a tribute to Aberlour's founder, James Fleming. It is matured entirely in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and released in small batches, non-chill filtered, in a rich, full-bodied sherried style. The nose brings spices, praline and orange. On the palate come dark cherry, ginger and dark chocolate, followed by a long, well-balanced finish with a gentle touch of oak.
