Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 85 is a cask-strength Speyside single malt, bottled at 61.3% in a 70cl bottle. It was created in homage to Aberlour's founder, James Fleming.
The whisky is matured exclusively in first-fill Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and bottled without chill-filtration.
The nose offers chocolate-coated orange peel, sticky ginger loaf, dried fruits and baking spices. The palate is thick and concentrated, with sultanas, prunes, orange marmalade and toffee apple. The finish is long, with sweet spices, dark chocolate and drying oak.
