Aberlour – A'bunadh Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 59.6%)

Aberlour A'bunadh is a single batch Speyside single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 59.6% ABV. The name means 'The Origin' in Gaelic. Each batch is matured exclusively in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and bottled straight from the cask, non-chill-filtered and without reduction of the alcohol strength. It is a heavy-bodied, robust whisky. The nose brings dried dates, cloves, star anise and cinnamon with burnt orange behind. On the palate come black cherries and dark chocolate with sherry and oak, and the finish carries exotic spices and oaky notes.
