Aberlour – Casg Annamh Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Aberlour Casg Annamh is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle and non-chill filtered. The name is Gaelic for 'Rare Cask'. It is made from a limited number of selected Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks and butts, which shape the whisky and bring sweet, rich notes alongside Aberlour's own distillate character. The nose is rich and sweet, with tangy orange, glazed cherries, raisins and a hint of ginger. On the palate come apple and cinnamon crumble and ripe peaches, balanced by liquorice and cloves. The finish is long and rich, fruity with a touch of dry spice.
