Aberlour – Triple Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Aberlour Triple Cask is a Speyside single malt matured in three types of cask: two kinds of American oak barrel that previously held bourbon, and one kind of European oak barrel that previously held sherry. It is described as the first Aberlour expression made with this triple maturation. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings honey, ripe pears and vanilla caramel. On the palate, sweet and tangy orange and red apple are balanced by a touch of liquorice and roasted almonds, and the finish is round with subtle spice.
