This is an English single malt distilled at Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery in 2018 and bottled by Adelphi in 2023 at 48% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It spent five years in a first-fill Moscatel hogshead and comes from a single cask, with an outturn of 330 bottles.
The nose is bright and aromatic, with lavender, red apple, pear, cherry-cola sweetness and confectionery notes. The palate is sweet, with root beer, salted liquorice, mandarin, dried fig and herbal complexity. The finish is medium and gently drying, with lingering fruit and herbal notes.
