The Cargill is a 5 year old whisky from Adelphi that fuses single cask malts from Ardnamurchan in Scotland and Cardrona in New Zealand. It is bottled at 57.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and 1200 bottles were produced. It was created in honour of William Cargill, who led 350 migrants from Scotland to Otago in 1847 and founded the city of Dunedin. Born in Edinburgh in 1784, he rose to the rank of Captain in the 74th Highland Regiment.
