The Senator is a six-year-old barrel proof rye whiskey from Proof & Wood, an independent blending and bottling company.
Spirits industry veteran Dave Schmier started Proof & Wood in 2015. The company focuses on ageing, blending and bottling rather than distilling, and American whiskey is the cornerstone of its selection, though its spirits span a range of categories.
