Adictivo Small Batch Whiskey is a five-year-old Mexican whiskey distilled from 100% black corn at Vitro Tequilera in Jalisco. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle and is the first whiskey from the Adictivo tequila brand.
The spirit spends five years in new American oak, then a finishing period in casks that previously held Adictivo Tequila.
Vanilla bean leads the nose, with ripe sweet fruit, fresh mint, oak and caramel. The palate is woody at first, then nutmeg and baking spice, light smoke, caramel and vanilla, with a hint of agave warmth. The finish is long and toasty, with sweetness and oak spice.
