Akkeshi – Daikan 2022 Limited Edition 6/24 World Blended Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Akkeshi Daikan is the sixth release in the distillery's 24 Solar Terms series, named for the season of great cold. This 2022 limited edition is a world blended whisky bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Akkeshi malt makes up most of the blend, joined by imported new pot grain whisky. It was aged for more than three years on a hilltop overlooking Akkeshi Bay. The tasting notes run through orange tea, brown sugar, strawberry and lemon, with citrus acidity, sweetness and sea salt, followed by white pepper and cocoa bitters with a chocolate-like sweetness.
