Akkeshi – Daikan 2022 Limited Edition 6/24 World Blended Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Akkeshi Daikan is a 2022 limited-edition world blended whisky from the Akkeshi distillery, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the sixth release in the distillery's 24 Solar Terms lineup, named for the season of great cold. Akkeshi malt makes up the majority of the blend, alongside imported new pot grain whisky. It was aged for more than three years on a hilltop overlooking Akkeshi Bay. It is described with orange tea, brown sugar, strawberry, lemon and sea salt, followed by white pepper, cocoa bitters and a chocolate-like sweetness.
