Akkeshi – New Born Foundation 4 (20cl, 48%)

Akkeshi New Born Foundation 4 is a Japanese whisky from the Akkeshi distillery on the island of Hokkaido, bottled at 48% ABV in a 20cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whisky and includes whisky made from Hokkaido-grown barley malt, known as Ryofu. It was matured in sherry butts. Oranges, salted caramel, a little banana and a maple syrup sweetness are joined by dark chocolate, white pepper and a hint of raisin.
