Akkeshi – No.4 "Shosho" Blended Whisky (48%)

A blended Japanese whisky and the fourth release in Akkeshi's 24 sekki series. Akkeshi single malt makes up more than half of the blend, which is mixed with imported unaged grain whisky and matured at Akkeshi. It is bottled at 48% ABV. The colour is golden, recalling ripe wheat fields, and the aroma is smoky with peat. The tasting notes list Manuka honey, butter fudge, marmalade, peat, lemon and lime acidity, sugar, white pepper, dried salt, bitter orange and sweet honey.
