Akkeshi – Ritto 立冬 5/24 2021 Peated Single Malt (70cl, 55%)

Ritto is the fifth single malt in Akkeshi's 24-Season Series, a peated Japanese whisky bottled at 55% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, numbered 5 of 24 in the series, and comes in a gift box. The tasting notes describe brown sugar, a fruit basket and chocolate, with soy sauce and the sweetness and sourness of citrus. Further notes include white pepper, barbecue, tangerine-like sweetness, and a chocolate-like mix of sweetness and bitterness.
