Akkeshi – Sarorunkamuy Lightly Peated Single Malt (20cl, 55%)

Akkeshi Sarorunkamuy is a lightly peated single malt from the Akkeshi Distillery of Kenten Co, on the Pacific coast of Hokkaido in northern Japan. It is bottled at 55% in a 20cl bottle. It was the first single malt made at the distillery, which began operations in 2016. On its first competition entry it won a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, in the Other Single Malt class, meaning every judge rated it Gold. Its flavour is described as strawberry chocolate.
