Akkeshi – Seimei 清明 7/24 2022 Peated Single Malt (70cl, 55%)

Seimei is the seventh single malt in Akkeshi's 24-Season Series, a peated Japanese whisky bottled at 55% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, numbered 7 of 24 in the series, and comes in a gift box. The tasting notes describe caramel fudge, vanilla, manuka honey and citrus, with soy sauce and a note of the tide. Further notes include citrus acidity, white pepper, salty lemon, and a chocolatey sweetness with a bittersweet citrus edge.
