Akkeshi – Shoman Blended Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Akkeshi Shoman is a Japanese blend of malt and grain whisky, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is the eleventh release in Akkeshi's Twenty-Four Season series. Shoman is the eighth season of the solar year, a time when life begins to flourish after the winter thaw. Whisky matured in Hokkaido Mizunara is the main blending element. It is vatted with whisky from a variety of barrels, including ex-rum casks. The blend is described as balancing savoury and sweet: golden apple, muscat grapes and tropical fruits mingle with charred wood, maple bacon and white pepper.
