Akkeshi Shosho is a limited edition Japanese blended whisky from 2021, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the 14th release in a 24-season series that alternates between single malt and blended whisky, and this one is a blend. Shosho, or Vanishing Heat, is the fourteenth of the 24 solar terms into which the year is divided. It marks the time when the heat eases and a cool breeze arrives in the mornings and evenings, as the harvest begins and the typhoon season approaches.
