Amador Whiskey 'Chardonnay Cask' (43%)

Amador Whiskey 'Chardonnay Cask' is sourced from the Willett family distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. The mashbill is 65% corn, 20% wheat and 15% barley. It spent three years in new charred American oak, then a further nine to twelve months in Napa Cellars Chardonnay barrels. It is bottled at 86 proof (43%). The colour is a copper brown. Vanilla, caramel, butterscotch and roasted almond mingle with hints of honey and tobacco, and the body is rich and full, closing with a creamy, long finish.
