A four year old Kentucky straight rye from Willett, bottled at cask strength at 55.4% (110.8 proof) and non-chill-filtered. It is a marriage of two Willett rye mashbills, one high in rye and one lower, aged in charred American white oak.
The nose brings tart and brandied cherry, baking spice, cinnamon and creamy vanilla. On the palate there are dark cherries, charred vanilla, caramel and peppery rye spice, and the finish is long and velvety, with spice, toasted grain and cherry.
