Johnny Drum Private Stock is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. It is bottled at 50.5% ABV (101 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The name is tied to one of Kentucky's distilling families. The higher strength is said to bring out the caramel, spice and oak in the whiskey, and it can be sipped neat, on the rocks or used in classic cocktails. The nose offers caramel, toasted oak, vanilla and light spice. On the palate there is rich toffee, baking spices, roasted nuts and subtle dark fruit, followed by a warm, smooth finish of lingering oak and sweet spice.
