Amrut Cask Strength Peated is a single malt from India, bottled at 62.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted barley and peat imported from Scotland, and bottled undiluted straight from the cask.
The nose is smoky, with dried fruit, dark honey, leather and a light spiced sweetness. On the palate come earthy peat, bitter cocoa, caramel, spice and toasted oak. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with a silky texture.
