Angel's Envy Cask Strength 2024 is a Kentucky straight bourbon at 118.8 proof (59.4% ABV), in a 750ml bottle. It is the 13th release in the annual Cask Strength series.
The bourbon was aged for up to 14 additional months in port wine casks. This year Tawny Port-finished bourbon joins the Ruby Port-finished bourbon of earlier releases.
The nose has brown sugar and butterscotch opening into stone fruit, pear and spice. On the palate are apple crumble and buttery pie crust, with chocolate, oak and cinnamon honey. The finish is long, with oak tannins, rich port and bright fruit.
