Angel's Envy – Cask Strength Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky (75cl, 50%)

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Angel's Envy, bottled in bond at cask strength, 50% ABV (100 proof), in a 750ml bottle. It is the first release in the Distillery Series, created by Master Distiller Owen Martin as a tribute to founder Lincoln Henderson. A lower barrel entry proof and careful blending were used, and the bourbon was aged for nearly six years. The colour is toasted gold. The nose has lightly caramelised sugars, vanilla wafers and a hint of banana pudding. The palate is sweet and balanced, with honey latte, light fruit syrup and toasted oak. The finish is rounded, soft and gently fading.
