Annandale 8 Year Old is a single cask Lowland single malt, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2024 as a private release for The Norseman. It matured in an American bourbon cask and was bottled undiluted at its natural cask strength of 62.8%.
The nose offers vanilla, mild spice and a light fruitiness of apple and pear. The palate is rich and full, with sweet oak and spicy bourbon notes, and perhaps tropical fruit or citrus. The finish is long and warm, balancing the wood of the cask with the malt's own sweetness.
