Annandale Man O'Sword Cask 1097 is a peated single cask whisky from the 2016 release, matured in a refill ex-bourbon cask and bottled at 60.7% ABV.
The refill cask acts as a gentle backdrop to Annandale's smoky spirit, and the result is refined and balanced. Cooked orchard fruits, soft embers, herbal spice, caramel, roasted hazelnuts and soft pear come through, with a rich, syrupy texture.
