This is a peated 10 year old single malt from Annandale, bottled for Best Dram as a single cask at cask strength, 55.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled on 7 September 2015 and matured in first fill bourbon barrel no. 568, then bottled on 3 November 2025. The outturn is 243 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines maritime peat smoke with creamy vanilla, gugelhupf cake and later marshmallow-style sweets. The palate is smoky, sweet and creamy, with a restrained touch of salt. The finish is medium in length, maritime and sweet.
