Antica Formula is a sweet vermouth in a 75cl bottle, dark in character and layered in style. It would suit a Manhattan.
The aromas bring mint and other herbs with plums and figs, reminiscent of Madeira.
On the palate it is rich and hard to pin down, with cocoa, red wine, almonds, bitter marmalade, hints of spice and toffee. It finishes with a bracing bitter edge.
